This is all from observation
So refrain from taking this afar,
I want to talk about marriage
And the three types that there are.
The first is the dominant Male
Keen to have his way,
An imposer of his ideals
Fear not, he'll have his day.
Of the second type, you'll chuckle
Is one of the woman in charge,
She hastens to have her way
Her ego describes as large.
Both these adamant types
Seek a common goal,
But at what expense you ask?
The expense of the Soul!
Selfish morality defined
By making their future bleak,
They lead to naught but death
It is progression that we seek!
The third type however
Is a marriage formed with Him;
Both parties resigned to obey
A life that is free from sin.
Oh Allah make from our offspring
A generation subservient to You,
And a leader among the Righteous
Oh Allah make it true!
